Takács Zsombor apre nel migliore dei modi il 2026 del Team MBH Bank CSB – Telecom Fort, regalando alla formazione la prima vittoria stagionale, che vale anche come titolo di Campione Ungherese Elite di ciclocross, conquistato a Debrecen. L’ordine d’arrivo ha visto Takács Zsombor imporsi in 59’59”, davanti a Barnabás Vas (+2’11”) e a Rózsa Dániel, al termine di una prova selettiva e combattuta.

Il successo è maturato in condizioni estreme, con la neve a rendere il percorso ancora più impegnativo dal punto di vista tecnico e fisico. «Ho vinto e per me è una soddisfazione personale importante, sia per la mia nazione sia per il progetto sportivo che rappresento. Mamma mia quanta neve. Sono rimasto al comando quasi tutta la corsa, ma è stata una battaglia dura con Barni, che conosco da sempre. Nel finale ha commesso qualche errore e questo mi ha dato la possibilità di avvantaggiarmi e arrivare da solo al traguardo», ha raccontato Takács Zsombor.

Takács Zsombor Crowned Hungarian Champion as Team MBH Bank CSB – Telecom Fort Gets 2026 Off to a Perfect Start

Takács Zsombor opened the 2026 season in the best possible way for Team MBH Bank CSB – Telecom Fort, delivering the team’s first victory of the year, which also earned him the Elite Hungarian Cyclocross Championship title, claimed in Debrecen. A success that immediately brings confidence and calm to the environment at the very start of the season, as the team led by Antonio Bevilacqua and Gábor Deák enthusiastically prepares to step up to the Professional category.

The final standings saw Takács Zsombor take the win in 59’59”, ahead of Barnabás Vas (+2’11”) and Rózsa Dániel, at the end of a selective and hard-fought race.

The victory came under extreme conditions, with snow making the course even more demanding both technically and physically. This win goes beyond the result itself: starting the season with a victory means working with greater peace of mind, strengthening team morale, and approaching upcoming events with confidence and ambition.

Zsombor raced with great authority, taking the lead from the early stages and controlling the pace for much of the race on a challenging circuit. The outcome was decided in the final phase, after a close battle with Vas, his teammate last season.

“I won, and for me this is an important personal achievement, both for my country and for the sporting project I represent. My goodness, there was so much snow. I stayed in the lead for almost the entire race, but it was a tough battle with Barni, whom I’ve known forever. In the finale he made a few mistakes, which gave me the chance to open a gap and cross the line alone,” said Takács Zsombor.
