MBH Bank Ballan CSB Colpack: nel 2026 il salto tra i Pro Team
BUDAPEST – Il team MBH Bank Ballan CSB Colpack farà ufficialmente il salto di categoria nel 2026, approdando tra le formazioni Professional e lasciando l’attuale status di squadra Continental.
Proprio in questi giorni, in occasione del Tour of Hungary, i vertici della squadra e il patron Gábor Deák hanno raggiunto l’intesa che ufficializza l’accordo. La qualità dell’organico Under 23 ed Élite, la crescita costante di una nuova generazione di corridori ungheresi e la volontà comune di far evolvere ulteriormente il progetto hanno portato alla decisione di compiere il passaggio tra i ProTeam.
Il progetto italo-ungherese, nato con solide fondamenta tecniche e una visione internazionale, era inizialmente destinato a compiere il grande passo già nel 2025. Tuttavia, i responsabili della squadra avevano preferito prendersi il tempo necessario per consolidare la struttura, rinviando di un anno il salto di categoria. Ora, tutte le condizioni sembrano mature per affrontare con slancio questa nuova sfida.
Antonio Bevilacqua, team manager della formazione, ha così commentato la notizia:
«Desidero ringraziare tutti gli sponsor che hanno creduto in noi e che hanno confermato il loro impegno anche per il futuro. In questi giorni, in Ungheria, abbiamo potuto vedere da vicino con quanta passione il nostro main sponsor ci segue: si respira una forte voglia di fare, di costruire qualcosa di importante. Vantiamo una storia di spessore, costruita negli anni attraverso un percorso stupendo.
In particolare, il mio grazie va a Beppe Colleoni – senza di lui non saremmo arrivati sin qui – alle famiglie Ballan e D’Aprile, alla General Operation Manager Rossella Dileo, a Gianluca Valoti, a mia moglie Federica e a tutte le persone che hanno collaborato con noi nel corso degli anni.»

PROSSIMI IMPEGNI: Nel frattempo l’attività prosegue con le gare. Mentre è in fase di svolgimento il Tour of Hungary, dove siamo protagonisti con diverse azioni di fuga, il prossimo week end si corre ancora.

BUDAPEST – The MBH Bank Ballan CSB Colpack team will officially move up a category in 2026, stepping into the Professional ranks and leaving behind its current Continental status.
Just in these days, during the Tour of Hungary, the team’s leadership and patron Gábor Deák reached an agreement that formalizes the decision. The high quality of the U23 and Elite roster, the steady development of a new generation of Hungarian riders, and the shared desire to further grow the project have led to the decision to make the leap to ProTeamlevel.
The Italian-Hungarian project, founded on solid technical foundations and an international vision, was originally intended to make the big step already in 2025. However, the team’s management decided to take the necessary time to consolidate the structure, postponing the promotion by one year. Now, all conditions seem ripe to take on this new challenge with confidence.

UPCOMING RACES – In the meantime, racing activity continues. While the Tour of Hungary is currently underway—with our riders actively involved in several breakaway attempts—the upcoming weekend will see more action on the road.
